Saif’s quote- I was at Cannes International Film Festival representing my brand Chivas but I felt like I am representing my industry (indian film industry ) too.. And I feel proud to do so.. Yesterday I hosted a party and truly enjoyed meeting some interesting people from global cinema and understanding their approach towards film making. It’s amazing how different their taste and palette towards cinema is compared to ours. For me ideal reason for coming back to Cannes would be to showcase a movie, I hope I come back representing a film we produce in the near future. For now it’s been a great experience to be here at the French Riviera..

Why is it always about sex?

What is it with men always wanting sex? Is a man’s sex drive simply uncontrollable?

Well first of all not all men or women have an equal sex drive. In fact sex drive is quite an individual issue, although generally in men it’s known to be rather high. There are other factors which effect both males and females. Such as people who maintain a healthy lifestyle, exercise regularly and avoid the consumption of alcohol, cigarettes and drugs tend to have a higher sex drive than individuals who neglect their nutrition and health in general. There are many instances where a woman is actually more sexually driven than the man, however women somehow seem to be much more in control and most times would only have sex if they feel it’s appropriate or are totally infatuated.

So is it always men who initiate sex? Perhaps not always but a good 90% of the time it is. Why?

Sex is also a means of expression, one which men find extremely convenient. Whereas a woman might feel she’s connecting with her partner by laying in bed at night and talking about everything that occurred during the day a man would much rather just get down to business roll over and sleep. The problem is that most men have trouble expressing themselves verbally so often sex appears like the ideal substitute. Many times it’s simply the physical attraction which creates that sexual desire in a man, and it’s absolutely no reason for a woman to feel insulted.

John Abraham follows Amir Khan’s footsteps

Famous Bollywood Hunk John Abraham is fast on the way to becoming a method actor like Aamir Khan and now believes in getting into the skin of every character he plays before he starts shooting.

The actor who is just back from a short holiday in Australia’s Gold Coast with girlfriend Bipasha Basu, will soon be flying to the US for a brief combat training session to prepare himself for Nishikant Kamat’s (of Mumbai Meri Jaan fame) next untitled film. A close associate from Nishikant unit says, “This is the way John would like to work, prepare hard for a film, give it his best shot, then take a long break to unwind and start all over again” John has been missing in action, post his last film, New York.

Source further added that John is taking less work these days as he is in no rush. He thinks this is the only way he can give a film the time required and do quality work. Along with Nishikant Kamat’s film John just has three more film in hand.

While no distributor is touching his film, Aashayein, John is looking forward to the release of David Dhawan’s Hook Ya Crook.
